I was born and raised on beautiful Lake of the Woods, in Kenora, Ontario. I moved to Winnipeg in 2003, in search of more opportunities. I attended both the University of Manitoba, and the University of Winnipeg, taking courses related to human anatomy and kinesiology, as I have always been fascinated with how the human body works.
After sustaining a shoulder injury, I lost a lot of range of motion in my dominant arm, and it really started affecting my activity level. I tried massage therapy and was amazed at the results I gained from it. After seeing how much massage therapy helped others, as it had helped me, I realized that this is what I wanted to do with my life.
I graduated from the Massage Therapy College of Manitoba in 2011, and I have been loving my career as an RMT ever since. I am a compassionate therapist, who is highly motivated to help my clients achieve their goals through massage therapy, whether it is recovery from an injury, coping with a chronic condition, or helping with aches and pains that hinder daily activities. I use multiple modalities in my treatments, to achieve the best possible outcome for my clients, and I will continue to grow and learn through future courses and workshops.
I am happiest when spending time outside, camping, on the lake or playing sports. I recently got my motorcycle license, I love to travel, hoping to learn how to sail this summer, and I work part time at an animal hospital. “I have many leather-bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany.” - Ron Burgundy
